ANALYSIS: Sidearm was claimed out of his 3rd vs. NW2L $25,000 claimers July 29. He won his only other sprint over this track, he plots well and there appears to be some pace to help set up his rally. Well give Sidearm the HF 15a. David Rocks has learned how to win as he made it two straight vs. NW2L $16,000 sprinters Aug 5. He charts close off that one and he seems too sharp to ignore. Giantinthemoonlite has been stuck at this level and he just missed off the bench Aug 2. He tops the charting, but the pace figures to be contested and he might be best used in the exotics only. CLOSERS: Fastest in the stretch in recent races at or near this distance have been: Takedown Charlie :25.1 David Rocks, Sidearm and Ganador :25.7
Three of these hit the imaginary wire in 4.5 lengths slower than par for the level. Blue Law plots as setting the pace and could get brave or it could be a mad dash for the wire with Unusually Big closing the fastest in 28.8. Look for value between these two.
