Systems have been around in horse racing for a long time and many are too complicated and time-consuming. The Digest has a quick and easy system which combines both class and speed and the best part is the work has already been done for you.

If you look at the top of the page where the horses are listed, you will see different columns. Our Digest system is found under columns 4, 5 and 6. Column 4 is a horse’s RCL or Race Competition Level. The number listed is a horse’s recent class level at which they finished 5th or better and within five lengths of the winner over the past 90 days. This is the class part of the system. Column 5 is the CPR or Comprehensive Performance Rating. This CPR number is from the race that the Digest Analyst selects as a representative race. This is the speed part
of the system.

These two are combined for a total number in Column 6 TOT. Nothing complicated and no extra time consumed! A simple system combining two of the basic factors of handicapping and one that can help lead you to more winners.
