I like this one in a big way today. His last race effort should have won him the Wilshire but with some early steadying/shuffling and the widest trip of the bunch, he fell just a nose short. Even with a straight run in the stretch this one gets it done, but he had to pull even wider when other contenders began drifting out on him. The pace should be a bit quicker than his prior race which only strengthens his chances and his post should keep him away from any serious trouble. The icing on the cake was Birdlover's impressive return from the Wilshire this weekend
