Race 1: 3-4-6-7 WIDE OPEN RACE.
Race 2: 1-4... Looks like 1 and 4 all day long.
Race 3: 9-3-2-5
Race 4: 10-5-6-2... 10 is a strong play.
Race 5: 1-8-7-3... 3 is an Arkansas bred but speed has been lethal the last couple days and that is why i threw him in. I really like the 1 and 8 here. I imagine the 8-1 morning line will not hold up on the 8. Anything over 7/2 and I'll be happy.
Race 6: 10-1-2-3-5-6-7-9. I think the 10 could be a good bet to hit the board, but other than that it is a great race to sit out. Between pick 4s, so I'll try to stay alive in the rolling pick 3s.
Race 7: 1-3-6-7. Singling the 1 on a ticket.
Race 8: 2,4,9... I think the 9 could be overbet in this spot. Like the 2, but there is a HUGE difference in a 3 year old and a 4 year old and Megyn's Gold is 3 facing a field of 4 and 5 year olds.
Race 9: 1-4-8... Feathered didnt do great in her comeback last out at Gulfstream, but connections have a goal of Kentucky Oaks so they have to win this to get in. Sarah Sis is the hometown favorite and has run some big races here this year. Achiever's Legacy no doubt belongs in this group. She has been training like a monster. I LOVE Lady Tapit, but I dont like that the jockey comes in to ride without having had a race over the Spa City oval.
Race 10: 2-3-5-6-7-8-9. Going deep to try and score the pick 4.

Ticket A: 1,4 w/ 2,3,5,9 w/ 10 w/ 1,3,7,8 = $16
Ticket B: 1,4 w/ 2,3,5,9 w/ 10,5,6,2 w/ 1,8 = $32

Late Pick 4 tickets:

In the 9th, FANTASY STAKES, John Sadler is no stranger to shipping into Oaklawn Park for big races, but his record in doing so is not very good. However, #5 Lady Tapit, 8-1, was not going to stick around Santa Anita and go up against Sadler's big filly, Stellar Ward, in the Santa Anita Oaks. It doesn't bother me that Sadler brings in Tiago Pereira to ride, he has been on board all Lady Tapit's two races, and I trust that Sadler would not be shipping her in if he didn't think she was special. I think this race has possible tote-board explosion written all over it and Lady Tapit will be on all my exotics!
