Five jockeys ship in to ride in this event including Mike Smith who is back to ride Conquest Typhoon. He has been freshened since beating similar turf routers at Del Mar Nov 30. He handles the synthetic Woodbine track just fine, he has worked fast of late and he may prove too classy for these. 'Typhoon is the HF 15a. Corey Lanerie is back to ride Indianaughty who was up for his win vs. NW1 Optional Claiming turf routers at Gulfstream Jan 14. He won twice in England over synthetic surfaces and he plots for a share. He could be one to fear late. Cross The Line won the local prep for this race Jan 17. He charts close off that one, Hernandez is back to ride and he may be able to get a jump on the closers with his tactical speed if good enough. Mischief Clem tops the charting off his win in a $250k dirt route Stakes at Santa Anita Jan 24. He did press a slowish pace in that one, but he worked fast Feb 7 and he ran well over the Del Mar synthetic surface last year. Kent D. is in to ride and we would not rule him out. Soul Driver and Stand And Salute were 2-3, respectively, in that Jan 17 Stakes and both seems eligible to make an impact once again.
