Nick Zito really is a believer in this underachieving 5 yo ridgling. He was primed for a big race on Super Saturday in G1 Jock Club Gold Cup, but bumped early and threw a shoe, then had to avoid that Moreno Wicked Strong mess. Not a bad effort considering the negatives?
He continues to train well down at Keeneland and will have plenty of ground to catch the frontrunners. Nobody is any better right now at knowing where the wire is in a long race than Julien Leparoux. I think he may drift up to around 5-1 at post? This will be a good size w/p wager for me!
