Has she faced company like this? Well, no, she hasn't
Look at her last race at Saratoga. Stumbled the start, made a rush up for the lead, and ended up pulling away by 9 lengths. Then take a look at that last work, 4f in a blazing 45 seconds. Top recent workout of everyone in the race. Some horses love facing better and step up a notch, some fold, I guess we'll just see.
Will I play at her 5/2 ML or lower? No, I believe there are much better ways to go. If however, people see that she hasnt raced good company and goes off at 4/1 or 5/1 I think it's worth some money.
that seems reasonable, thanx flyinlate. Like I tell my girlfriend every time I try to beat a million dollar horse, "sometimes a million dollar horse is a million dollar horse". I am leaning towards closers in that race, despite monmouth's supposed track bias, because the is just tons of speed in there.
