Race 8 @ Del Mar, the San Clemente Handicap

Personally i prefer Strawberry Tart, but Starlarks does figure to be running late here at a pretty good price. She's currently 6/1, and may drift up from there. I'll definitely use her behind Strawberry Tart in an exacta, if nothing else.

#3 Strawberry Tart (7/2 ml)

This filly has really looked fantastic since switching to the grass, demonstrating a ferocious late kick in both turf starts that should play very well in this speed-laden field. Proved she can get the distance last time out, and should run another strong race here. I should also mention #8 Starlarks (12/1 ml), who figures to be coming late also and will start at a big price. Exacta material.
