Default Stardom Bound Questionable for Oak Leaf
Stardom Bound (Tapit), who rallied from last-to-first to impressively annex the GI Del Mar Debutante S. Sept. 1, may be scratched from Saturday's GI Oak Leaf S. after getting kicked by a pony following a Friday morning gallop, according to Daily Racing Form. "It won't require stitches, but it's so close to the joint that we are concerned," trainer Chris Paasch told DRF. "If she's not 100 percent, I will not run her." X-ray results are pending.
