I was hoping they'd try him on dirt. Will be interesting to read the post-race quotes from Matz if this horse wins impressively again. If nothing else, he'll have some solid route experience with 3 straight two-turn races under his belt. Could end up being a threat on the Triple Crown trail if he takes to the dirt okay. Matz seems in no hurry to try that, however, so perhaps he knows something the rest of us don't.
