Only going with 1 play for today after yesterday: Race 9: #7 Bulls And Bears - Violette usually does well with his 2yo's at Saratoga and this one comes off of a monster win. Hopefully will get somewhere around the M/L of 7/2. GL |

I would not count any of the top 5 in that race moving forward.

Take a look at #7 Bulls and Bears breaking from the gate on the head-on replay. If that weren't bad enough,. he had further trouble in the stretch, though frankly he appeared to have caused it himself by ducking in from the whip. Rather amazing that he was only beaten a length or so at the wire.

But I think the idea of the game is too pick winnners that cross the finish line first not who should have won but who did win !!!

Backtalk was good in his own right and deserved to win. He had to come pretty wide and nobody was giving an inch. He show grit, deterimination and the will to win. At two he's already being battle tested. That will come in handy if he's going to go for the bigger prizes next year.
