Saratoga - Race 6 #9 Buster's Ready (4/1 ml) Pletcher firster comes into this two-turn grass affair out of a 3-horse team drill with Awesome Maria and Sensational Slam. As you may know, Awesome Maria came out of that drill to win a turf stakes on yesterday's card, and Sensational Slam is entered in a turf stakes today (Race 8) after having already won a couple of sprint stakes up at Woodbine. Pletcher does very well with 2yo's making their debut around two turns on grass, and this one looks extremely live, obviously. HRT record: 71 for 262 (27%) $602.40 mutuels ($8.48 avg)
