I certainly do not know what the oddsmaker had in mind in this race. Possibly he has my ticket tucked away in his wallet and wants nobody to know.
#4 Palladio @ 30 to 1?? This horse is going to be bet down like Grant took Richmond. We are still hoping he comes in with double diget odds. We are expecting a romp here. The race you dream about the night before. Once in a while you need to jump On the bridge so our money will be on this race today

Might have something to do with the fact that he went off @ 50/1 in last year's race and was beaten by 20 lengths.

That said, he does look to be in pretty good form, and he's been runing well on synthetic (whereas last year's race was run on dirt). Tough spot for him though.
