Looking over the entries at ARL...i stumbled across my favorite angle in racing...In the 3rd race HIS GREATNESS hasnt seen a weaker field in his lifetime..Early in the year he was on the derby path,,but simply wasnt good enough..Last year ran evenly in the breedrs cup juvenile and i guess the trainer thought he was good enough to put the horse on the derby trail..Ran in 3 consecutives grade 2's and was over his head...His last 3 races show hes rounding to form ran up against Awesome Ryhtm(showed good speed and finished well) who came back and won,,2 back ran against Duke of Mischief who was in razor sharp form parked wide the whole race ,,but again showe good spped ...NOW HIS LAST RACE WAS A TURF RACE WHERE HE RAN A 1/2 MILE THEN BACKED UP...hhmmm,WORKED 46 3/5 FOR 4F..,,INDICATION THAT THE TURF RACE DID ITS JOB...RETURNS TO ARLINGTON WHERE HE BROKE HIS MAIDEN....over 5/2 is a reasonable price..Im heading to the bank now!!!
