Ridiculous discrepancy in Beyer figures (again)

This was brought to my attention by Alan over @ LATG. On Saturday afternoon @ Hollywood, Baffert had a couple of 2yo maiden winners who each ran at the same distance, recording virtually identical final times (upon which Beyers are based).

Clutch Player ran a 1:08.91, and received a 97 Beyer.

Quiet Invader ran a 1:08.98, and received an 85 Beyer.
