The Pamplemousse resumes training The Pamplemousse, winner of two stakes for 3-year-olds in the winter of 2009, will resume jogging this week after recovering from a tendon injury, co-owner Alex Solis II said. The Pamplemousse was taken out of training in late March 2009, days before an expected start in the Santa Anita Derby. He was found to have a lesion on a tendon. Solis said Sunday that The Pamplemousse recently underwent tests that showed the 4-year-old could resume exercise with trainer Julio Canani. "It would be nice to have him ready to race at Del Mar," said Solis, the son of the jockey. found it on his facebook......... |
