I saw someone post this matchup on another site, with Music Note apparently being listed as a -175 favorite. That's crazy. While it's true she did beat Proud Spell by open lengths in their previous meeting, Proud Spell had the trip from hell that day, and clearly would made it much closer (or perhaps even won the race) with a clean trip. It should be mentioned that Music Note stumbled at the break as well, but her trip was WAY better than Proud Spell's. Definitely worth watching the replay, and definitely worth taking Proud Spell @ +150 or better in a head-to-head matchup. Looks like a toss-up to me.
