Sad day for racing and myself as Cowboy Larry is hanging up his reins as a trainer, I'm hearing that Rick Porter has found his replacement in Jeff Barkley he has learned under Bob Holthus. What a nice gig to fall into for Jeff, Porter is a top notch owner and I will truly miss Cowboy Larry. This will be my last season to talk and see him at the Fairgrounds, I'm looking forward to this years coming meet at the Grounds.
