Undefeated Zenyatta has been scratched from the $350,000 Louisville Distaff at Churchill Downs due to deteriorating track conditions.

The 5-year-old mare, champion older female in 2008, is a perfect 9-for-9 in her career. Friday's Distaff was to be her first start since winning the 2008 Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classic at Santa Anita.

Zenyatta, trained by John Sheriffs, was listed as the overwhelming 4-5 favorite in the 1 1/16th-mile race on the undercard of the Kentucky Oaks, the filly version of the Kentucky Derby.

Sheriffs opted to pull her out of the race, however, after a forecast called for showers and storms throughout the day.
