Nice call with Square Deal. I looked at her briefly until i saw that Kerwin John was riding. Notice the late jockey change to Espinzoa, btw. Kerwin wasn't aboard for the win...

I saw john on the form but on tvg it said victor...just put them to sleep...

Update: In the last race on Monday's card, #13 Great Rising Star had Kerwin John named to ride, then a jockey switch to Espinoza (same as Square Deal above). Great Rising Star missed by a nose @ 14/1. Different trainers, as Square Deal was trained by Kristin Mulhall, and Great Rising Star was trained by Ruben Cardenas. Interesting coincidence, though, Keep an eye out for this.

DC- On Mondays race, the 13 was an AE and KJ already had an obligation to ride the Lemon Drop Kid horse- think it was the 4. But I agree with your prmise. |
