AP Indy. Incidentally, Bernardini's mom (Cara Rafaela) was a very good horse in her own right. High-level stakes type who i believe ran second in the BC Juvenile Fillies to Storm Flag Flying, if memory serves.

Incidentally, i stood to win about 7 grand in future bets if Bernardini won the Classic (he was even-money on the morning-line, i think). Tough beat. And yeah, Kind Words didn't show much at all yesterday. The winner was Mambo Fever @ 8/1, a horse i mentioned here prior to her debut. Unfortunately, i didn't bet her.
