Talked to Asst. Trainer few minutes ago and was alerted to a very live shot at 6-1

#8 DIXIE COWBOY, 6-1
In last was bumped hard and fell way back early only to come flying at the end to just miss. I pulled up the form and he really came from out of the clouds going 1 mile. Been given a little time off and working well for his stretch out to 1 1/8. Should be prominent late!

Bill didn't say a word about rain or coming off the turf. However, I have the feeling, based on works, that if race comes off this one will be a scratch.

Congrats on the new foals! How exciting and it sounds like you are in search of a Sheik coming around next spring!
