Obsevers said Gomez afterward punched Espinoza by the weigh in scales. Gomez said that the incident stemmed from bad blood between the jockeys and that Espinoza also was mad at Baffert for taking him off horses.Specifically he said Espinoza looked at me and dropped in and bounced me off the fence.. He didn"t have any horse. There was no reason for him not to go straight backwards. Its a shame too, because my horse didnt get to perform. He got back up on his feet and still performed well. and he ended up getting stopped to a walk. We will look forward to the next one...
