There are a lot of good angles in this race but I believe Apart is worth a win/place bet here. Apart is coming into the race 3rd off a layoff. His March 13th work tells me he is ready and fit and I believe he gets a distance he prefers. Giant Oak won't have enough pace to run into I believe the main threat here is Misson impazible. Giant Oak looked far too impressive in his last two to bet against. He has made some very good runs into slow paced races, and Shaun is the only one who has been able to ride/time him right. He's a new horse at his old age, playable odds and he will see my money. |

The 3/7 box paid me 15.30 per dollar. I was very happy Apart held of Giant Oak. Giant Oak is now 0 for 5 on the track.  |
