Hollywood - Race 4 #3 Special Kid (8/1 ml) Tough spot for this one last time when turning back into a sprint (in another race that was rained off the turf), forced to check hard and then finishing a non-threatening 6th in a race he didn't figure to win anyway. Big difference today though, switching back to two turns on grass, where he was last seen turning in a sharp win after sitting close up thru solid fractions. Doesn't face a ton of early speed here and should be able to make the lead on moerate fractions, in which case he should be able to hold safe in much the same way he did during the afore-mentioned win. Good value on a legit pace threat. HRT record: 84 for 311 (27%) $697.40 mutuels ($8.30)

Nice job by Talamo not letting him get out, too. Otherwise he would've snagged second right? Congrats to the Andy Harrington. He's put me on some nice one's lately, and crushed the late pick-4 today. He's always been very good from Hollywood. His homeboy @ Santa Anita is decent, but misses some real gems. When Andy was @ Del Mar in the past he was so-so, but this last year was spot on. |
