Just checked on Weather.com, and they're expecting a good bit of rain in New York today. That would to play right to this mare's strentgh, because she's been an absolute terror over turf courses that have been softened by rain. Most recently she win the Grade 1 Beverly D (over today's opponent Pure Clan) overa soft course, and before that she won this very same race at Belmont last year. Before that, she had missed by less than a length to the eventual Breeders Cup F&M Turf winner Forever Together. Should be tough to handle here with any kind of give in the ground.

Simply didn't fire. Very surprising. The race was run during a driving rain, not sure if that had any effect on her or not.
