Interesting race coming up @ Belmont in about an hour. It's a new stakes race for 3yo's at a flat mile on the main track, called the More Than Ready Stakes. Both these two colts look like shells of their former selves right now (due to injury), but if either of them were to regain their form here, they could potentially pose a threat in the Breeders Cup. Worth watching, for sure. Btw, i noticed the "hit gate" comment for EZ Warrior in his last race, but i don't remember seeing that. At all. As best i remember, he just broke poorly and didn't show any speed (which is exactly opposite to his pre-injury form). He did have a legitimate excuse in the Del Mar race, going to his knees when the gates opened and losing all chance right there. |

This is a very interesting race indeed. I have played EZ Warrior in Race 8 with hopes he has regained some of his speed. I love the 1 mile race, gives those closers a little less time to make their move. Should be a good one for sure...I'll def be watching.
