Derby fever has kicked in full gear for me and I was watching some replays at work today and of course the tragedy of Eight Belles came along with last year's video. I remember after the incident a petition went around to ring eight bells before the derby this year in her honor. Does anyone know if this petition was successful? I will be sporting my Eight Belles pin this year in her honor.

And By The Way Jones Didn't Have Bells On Roids For The Derby, She Got Off Them A Month Eariler. And Big Brown A Month Later, Call A Spade A Spade
