Yes, that's true. A few years ago i bet Youmzain win/place in the Sheema Classic, and my place bet was paid after he ran third. Not sure what's up with that, but i wasn't complaining. It's something i considered when making my wagers this morning, but i went ahead and stuck to win-only. Speaking of Youmzain btw, he paid huge in the exacta behind Sea The Stars in the Arc last year. I love betting these foreign races in American pools; unfortunately we only get to do it twice a year.
