I'd have a field day in Vegas with these two lines.

I liked 'em, obviously. A bit apprehensive regarding the track condition, and Noble's Promise's recent health issues, but i couldn't pass those up.

Hey, check this out this prop i saw @ Bally's:

Will 20 horses start in the Derby?

Yes -130
No -110

I nearly fell over when i saw that. Obviously the potential monsoon tomorrow could affect that prop (Sadler mentioned there's a very slight possibility that Line of David could scratch), but -130 against a Derby scratch with less than 24 hours to post almost seemed like free money. So i went up to the window to check the price, and it was off the board. I askeda supervisor about it, and he called over to Caesars (or wherever) to find out why it was off, then he tells me it's because "They're protecting themselves against a late scratch". Say wha???

LOL what? Great answer there guys. They're pretty much aknowledging their error by ever releasing that prop. On a normal derby derby thats a good prop to take (we had 19 last year for that matter), let alone when they're calling for 80% chance of thunderstorms all day and the track still hasn't even fully recovered from the terrential rains all last week and early this week.

I think you'll be okay fading Dublin, he has reportedly looked terrible in recent training. Something seems amiss with him.

Winner on the Noble's Promise matchup, and that was it. Everything else lost. I even lost the "No" on that Todd Pletcher prop @ -115. I got freaking destroyed today.

Unfortunately no exacta or straight bets, but was happy to cash the matchups. First derby I have won on in years.
