MC $20k 2yo 1 mile 70 yards Most of these babies have had a race, and most looked just aweful. But we might be able to catch a fair price here on exotics due to a Pletcher trained throwout, #3 Kirbynator, 3-1, who is owned by TAP's father and will be overbet, but is a very good bet against. Steve Hobby says his colt may not win, but he will beat the TAP entry by open daylight. Good enough for me! #1A, poe, CHIEF WILD EAGLE, 8/5 Tony Dutrow trained colt stretches out from 4 1/2 to a route, and Jock Joe Rocco takes this mount over several others. Closed OK in debut going short and the stretch out is key. Probably the better of the entry and Hobby says he is playing this one himself over his entry. #5 RISk ON, 9/2 Hobby 2nd time starter goes with a Bug Boy and gets 10lbs, weight may help going distance of ground. #6 SAVARA RULES, 8-1 This one was in over his head at Monmouth, maybe not here? #7 DEACON FURR, 4-1 Turf to dirt move and the drop into clm ranks helps his chances. The Play: 1/1A win TRIFECTA KEY 1-1A---5/6/7 Superfecta Key 1-1A---5/6/7---5/6/7---3/5/6/7 GOOD LUCK TO ALL! |
