Race 2 #6 Divine Heat (6/1 ml) First-time starter for Abrams (who owns a piece of this horse) comes in with a very nice UNREPORTED gate drill on Aug 1, with today's jockey Rosario aboard. He showed keen speed there, and should be a definte contender in this 5.5 furlong maiden claiming affair. And i've noticed that horses showing unreported workouts win more than their fair share. Coincidence? Probably not... HRT record: 3 for 11 (27%) $25.50 mutuels ($8.50 avg) |

Divine Heat went off @ 6/1 and indeed made the early lead, but he spit the bit before they even got to the turn. Ouch.

I loved Comical Vacation to death, but i couldn't post her due to the expected short price. She won by 5 lengths and paid $3.00. Whoopee. I couldn't even bet her...
