I liked this horse quite a bit in the Saratoga Special, but he never appeared comfortable over the surface, though he did struggle up for a well-beaten second. Should improve dramatically on the return to synthetic, and Biancone must think he's doing awfully well if he's choosing to run him back so quickly in a Grade 1 just a couple of weeks after shipping cross-country. Should offer a great price coming off the dud last time out, and gets a lot of speed to set up his late kick here. A return to his California form would make him tough at a square price.

Went off @ 13/1 but ran another dud.
