FB, i noticed that Fair Grounds is opening this week. What happened to the traditional Thanksgiving Day opening?

Also, what's the status of the training races? I know they were discontinued several years ago....any talk of them being re-instated?

The training races might come back but that is a 50/50 prop, haven't really heard anything on the why the date is pushed up this year, probably because of the grand opening of the new slot facililty. I will be there on Saturday lining up my contacts for the upcoming meet. I have a live one running on opening day and will pass it along to you all when it's confirmed. Just texted my contact and he says will update me later in the week. This one should be a decent price if the word doesn't spread like gasoline fire.
