HE APPEALED A 3 DAY LEVIED AT CHURCHILL DOWNS IN NOVEMBER...COMMISSION CALLED HIS APPEAL FRIVOLOUS AND ADDED 3 MORE DAYS.HE CANNOT RIDE AT OAKLAWN JAN 15-17 OR JAN 22-24.COMMISSION INSISTED HE SERVE ON RACING DAYS.DARK DAYS WERE NOT ALLOWED.w2w

Borel was set to ride a good looking 3yr colt named DICTUM on opening weekend at OP. Colt used to be trained by Amoss, but connections were not happy with his advise to drop into 15K clm after two 2nd at Mtr. last summer. Young son of Tale Of The Cat is working well(4f 49.2) in the hands of a young trainer based in Arkansas and connections are very upbeat about his future. Could be a sleeper in the OP route to Kentucky, or could be the 15K claimer Amoss tried to dispose of(probably to one of his Fairgrounds buddies). Worth keeping an eye on.
