Rep Power: 4 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts ![]() | Race 9 #6 Sky Cape (8-1) Was scratched out one of the divisions of the Oceanside Stakes on Opening Day and has had a couple of nice works since, one of which was a stamina building 7 furlong drill. In his last race he had a ton of trouble and still won, in that race he defeated Mr. Keppel who came back and ran second in one of the divisions of the Oceanside Stakes. The race before that he defeated top three year old Twp Step Salsa. His tactical speed will keep him close early and comes home just as fast as the closers in the race. Sky Cape is a very talented animal, but i think he's far better sprinting than he is going two turns. I don't like him at all in this race. He does figure to be a force on the Santa Anita downhill course once Oak Tree opens.
