3RD RACE: Purse $8,725, claiming, 3 & 4 year olds, 300 yards.
IDENTICAL CHOICE (Nicasio) lacked racing room after tough start in last outing four months ago and posted quick 18.1 gate drill for return vs. this easier field. DYNO DASHIN (E Aceves) has been no worse than third in last five outs and deadheated for second in last vs. rapid winner at higher level. OCEAN DRIVE (S Mendez) lacked a rally after quick start in last sixth-place try vs. much stronger and was third vs. eventual claiming stakes winner Flare Checking three outs ago.

#8, Carrtowns Katie: hidden good form; a couple of turf races against much better and a very good effort three races back going 9F on an off the turfer. Win @ > 15:1

#7, Plautia Urgulanila: has a win 3 back against similar and two suspect trips last two. Blinkers off today. Win @ > 25:1

About as RETARTED a RIDE on the 8 as you'd want, and she still got it done. Should've won by 5 lengths, at least. She was 20:1 just before they loaded, so somebody sent a bit in on her.
